Winter to Spring Transition Outfits

"The most important thing to remember is that you can wear all the greatest clothes and all the greatest shoes, but you’ve got to have a good spirit on the inside. That’s what’s really going to make you look like you’re ready to rock the world."
— Alicia Keys

Spring marks the season of flowers blooming and new life emerging, but that's not suppose to include a fresh layer of snow on the ground! Most people are lucky enough to live in a nice warm climate, but others may be struggling with a similar issue of mine.
Tomorrow marks the first day of spring and where I live, snow is present and the cold
breezes don't seem to want to leave so soon!

Finding an outfit that fits the weather just right in this awkward transitioning time is difficult, but with layering techniques, any girl can achieve the perfect outfit.

I put together a few outfits to transition a girl's closet from the cold Winter months, to the Spring months, full of sunshine and bountiful gardens. If you live in an area that's colder or warmer than where I live, you can always add or subtract some layers to get a similar look.

1. Bold and Floral

Transitions from Winter to Spring

This outfit speaks for itself and definitely screams spring. Bright colors and floral jeans are two huge trends for this season and add personality to this outfit. Just in case the cold winter winds return, I decided to add a fur vest to warm up the outfit, but it can easily be taken off to reveal a breathable outfit when the sun peeps through the trees.

2. Relaxed and Comfy

This outfit is for the colder transitional days. The combination of this relaxed sweater with the light scarf and denim vest, adds personality to this comfy-day outfit. I love this outfit because of the effortless feel that it portrays and the denim vest and sneakers add a pre-spring time touch, while keeping the outfit warm enough to embrace the cool air.

3. Polished and Fun

This final outfit is for a day out with friends and family. Polka dots warm the brisk air of winter and create a fun canvas to build on. This outfit is definitely for the warmer days and nights, but you can add a warm pair of tights or a thicker jacket to build upon the warmth of this outfit. The pop of color from this polka dot fitted shirt, adds a fun accent to this daring look.

Hope these outfit ideas help and inspire you!
Good luck finding your perfect transitioning outfit,
xoxo love, Serena
